OFFICIAL DECLARATION OF INTENT TO CONTEST FOR THE OFFICE OF WELFARE DIRECTOR

Dear Great Students, Distinguished Colleagues, and Esteemed Members of Our University Community,

With a deep sense of responsibility, commitment, and dedication to student welfare, I hereby officially declare my intention to contest for the position of Welfare Director in our forthcoming Students' Union Government (SUG) election.

This decision is inspired by my passion for serving students, advocating for their interests, and ensuring that every student enjoys a conducive academic and social environment. I strongly believe that the welfare of students should remain a top priority, as it directly influences academic excellence, personal development, and overall campus experience.

As your Welfare Director, I will be a voice for every student, regardless of faculty, department, level, religion, ethnicity, or social background. My administration will be built on transparency, inclusiveness, accountability, and practical solutions to students' challenges.

MY AGENDA

#. Student Welfare and Support Enhancement

Establish a responsive welfare system for addressing students' concerns.

Create a feedback and complaint channel for quick intervention on welfare-related issues.

Advocate for better welfare policies that benefit all students.

#. Health and Well-being Initiative

Organize periodic medical outreach and health awareness campaigns.

Promote mental health awareness and counseling support services.

Partner with relevant organizations for free or subsidized health programs.

#. Academic Support and Student Development

Facilitate academic seminars, workshops, and career development programs.

Support struggling students through mentorship and academic guidance initiatives.

Promote access to educational opportunities and scholarships.

#. Security and Student Safety Advocacy

Collaborate with relevant authorities to improve campus security.

Advocate for safer hostels, lecture environments, and student movement within campus.

Establish emergency response communication channels for students.

#. Affordable Living and Economic Relief Programs

Advocate for fair and student-friendly pricing of essential services.

Pursue partnerships that provide discounts on educational materials and student necessities.

Promote welfare interventions during periods of economic hardship.

Ensure equal representation and inclusion of all students.

Strengthen relationships between students and the Students' Union.
