The Outgoing Jamo-Led Students' Union Government proudly congratulates Comrade Bashir Abdulhafiz (Hafeez) on his overwhelming victory as the Assistant Secretary General-Elect of the Students' Union Government for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Polling an impressive 5,082 votes, Comrade Bashir Abdulhafiz received one of the strongest mandates recorded in the election, reflecting the overwhelming confidence and trust placed in him by the University of Abuja students.

Administrative excellence remains the backbone of every successful organisation. Policies, resolutions, agreements, and constitutional decisions only retain value when they are properly documented and preserved. The Assistant Secretary General therefore plays a critical role in ensuring continuity, accountability, transparency, and institutional effectiveness.

The outgoing administration encourages the Assistant Secretary General-Elect to uphold professionalism, confidentiality, diligence, punctuality, and accuracy in the discharge of his constitutional duties. He is expected to work harmoniously with the Secretary General and the entire Executive Council to strengthen administrative efficiency and promote a culture of excellence within the Students' Union Government.

We equally appreciate all candidates who participated in the election for demonstrating maturity, sportsmanship, and respect for democratic values.

As one administration concludes its service, we remain optimistic that the incoming officers will consolidate on the gains of previous administrations while introducing innovative administrative reforms that will strengthen the Students' Union Government for generations to come.
