The Jamo-Led Students' Union Government (SUG), University of Abuja, proudly congratulates the Secretary General-Elect of the Students' Union Government for the 2025/2026 Academic Session on the successful outcome of the just-concluded Students' Union election.

Following a peaceful, transparent, and credible electoral process, the Secretary General-Elect has earned the confidence and mandate of the University of Abuja student to serve in one of the most strategic administrative offices within the Students' Union Government. This victory is a reflection of the trust reposed in his leadership capacity, competence, dedication, and commitment to effective service.

It is entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating the Union's official records, preparing and preserving minutes of meetings, managing official correspondence, maintaining institutional documentation, supervising administrative procedures, and ensuring that all constitutional and executive decisions are properly documented and communicated.

The Office of the Secretary General is indispensable to the smooth functioning, credibility, and sustainability of the Union.

The Jamo-Led Administration therefore encourages the Secretary General-Elect to discharge the responsibilities of the office with the highest standards of integrity, diligence, professionalism, confidentiality, impartiality, and unwavering commitment to constitutional procedures.

The office demands exceptional attention to detail, administrative discipline, and the ability to coordinate effectively with every arm of the Students' Union Government.

We urge the Secretary General-Elect to work harmoniously with the President, Vice President, Assistant Secretary General, and the entire Executive Council in promoting efficient administration, strengthening institutional processes, and fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence.

Through collaborative leadership and sound administrative practices, the incoming administration will be well-positioned to deliver quality representation and impactful governance to every University of Abuja student.

The outgoing administration equally commends all candidates who contested for the position of Secretary General.

Their participation enriched the democratic process and demonstrated the growing commitment of students to responsible leadership, healthy political engagement, and democratic ideals.

We appreciate the maturity, sportsmanship, and respect for the electoral process displayed throughout the campaign and election period.

As the Jamo-Led Administration prepares to conclude its tenure, we remain optimistic that the incoming leadership will build upon the achievements of previous administrations while introducing innovative administrative reforms that will further strengthen the Students' Union Government and enhance service delivery to the student community.
