The Jamo-Led Students' Union Government warmly congratulates Comrade Wayo Sefa Daniel (Sefa Daniels) on his successful election as the Vice President-Elect of the Students' Union Government for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Having secured 4,174 votes, Comrade Sefa Daniel earned the confidence of students across the University to occupy one of the most strategic executive offices within the Students' Union Government.

The Office of the Vice President serves as an indispensable pillar of the Union's leadership architecture.

Beyond deputising for the President, the Vice President coordinates executive responsibilities, supervises committees, ensures policy implementation, promotes effective collaboration among executives, and provides continuity in leadership whenever required.

The confidence reposed in the Vice President-Elect demonstrates students' belief in his leadership capacity, commitment, and readiness to serve the entire University.

The outgoing administration encourages him to remain a dependable partner to the President-Elect while providing wise counsel, promoting teamwork, strengthening institutional harmony, and ensuring that the administration remains focused on delivering impactful programmes that directly benefit students.

The relationship between the President and Vice President often determines the stability, productivity, and effectiveness of an administration.
