MEMORANDUM TO ALL STUDENTS
RE: UPDATE ON THE CLEARING OF OVERGROWN BUSHES ON CAMPUS
Dear Esteemed Students,
The Office of the SUG Director of Welfare wishes to inform all students that we are working tirelessly in collaboration with the University Management and the relevant Directorates responsible for environmental maintenance to ensure the urgent clearing of overgrown bushes across the University of Abuja campuses.
We are fully aware that the overgrown vegetation in some parts of the campus poses significant safety and environmental concerns, including poor visibility, the possible presence of reptiles and harmful insects, and other security risks. The safety, welfare, and well-being of every student remain our utmost priority.
The Office of the Director of Welfare has continued to engage the appropriate University authorities and has strongly advocated for immediate intervention.
While awaiting the commencement of the exercise, we kindly urge all students to exercise caution when moving around areas with overgrown vegetation and to promptly report any safety concerns to the Office of the Director of Welfare.
The Office remains committed to working with the University Management to ensure a cleaner, safer, and more conducive learning environment for all students.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation.
